Here's how to fish for trout with a crankbait.

First, pick a silent crankbait model if you're fishing high pressured areas. Crankbaits that rattle are better for areas that don't get trout fishing pressure. Next, shad colors or chartreuse are the most productive colors. Holographic shiny or UV tape crank baits are great for sunny conditions. Finally, the KVD 1.5 crankbait and the Nishine Chippewa RB are my favorites.
